Atibaia secures two spots in 2026 State Amateur Championship

The Federação Paulista de Futebol (FPF) has initiated the organization of the 78th edition of the State Amateur Championship for 2026. Municipal leagues must submit their official representatives by September 4 to qualify for the tournament.

Atibaia has secured two spots for the competition. União FC will participate based on state performance as the current runner-up, while Unidos do Tanque will represent the city as the 2025 municipal champion. A technical council meeting via videoconference is scheduled for September 10 to define the tournament regulations and group brackets. Matches are expected to begin on October 11.
