Atibaia Sports Week and Santa Rita Plaza Revitalization
From July 30 to August 2, the city of Atibaia will host a series of free municipal, state and national sports competitions, including volleyball, football, fut7 and other events across local venues such as the Elefantão gymnasium and the Alvinópolis field.
On July 29, the municipality of Santa Rita in Paraíba signed an Order of Service to commence the revitalisation of Praça Sá Andrade in the Marcos Moura neighbourhood. The work is part of the "Transforma Santa Rita" programme, described as the city's largest infrastructure‑investment plan, and will add accessibility features, new landscaping, LED lighting and safer public spaces.
