Atilla Taş breaks silence following daughter's death

Turkish singer Atilla Taş has issued his first public statement following the death of his daughter, Sezen Taş. Sezen Taş passed away after falling from the 14th floor of an apartment building in the Erdemli district of Mersin.

In his statement, Taş expressed profound grief, noting that he is struggling to find words to describe his pain. He thanked the public and those who supported him during this difficult time, stating that sharing the sorrow made it more bearable.

Addressing criticisms regarding the absence of certain artist colleagues at the funeral, Taş explained that the sudden nature of the event and the location of the service may have created a false impression of isolation. He clarified that most of his colleagues reached out to offer support.

Taş also shared his intention to focus on raising his two grandchildren, who are his daughter's legacy, noting the responsibility he feels toward them.
