Atlanta and Cobb County community events for October

Various community activities are scheduled across the Atlanta, Decatur, and Cobb County areas for late October.

In the Atlanta and Decatur regions, events include a pet Halloween costume contest at Septre Brewing in Oakhurst on October 21, with a portion of proceeds benefiting a local dog rescue. Additionally, Downtown Decatur will host a week of trick-or-treating at local businesses from October 25 to October 31.

Cobb County features several programs in Marietta, including a Taste of Italy cooking demonstration and a pharmacy fraud awareness session at the Senior Wellness Center on October 23. Other scheduled activities include a Spanish conversation group at Sibley Library and a trunk-or-treat event hosted by the Cobb County Elections and Registration team, which will also provide voter registration assistance.
