Atlanta Braves omit Ha-Seong Kim from starting lineup

The Atlanta Braves have announced a change to their starting lineup for their upcoming series against the Tampa Bay Rays, notably omitting shortstop Ha-Seong Kim.

Kim, who has struggled significantly this season, is currently batting .110 with 11 hits in 40 games. In the Braves' recent 1-0 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies, Kim went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts. This performance follows a three-game hitless skid.

Kim previously played for the Tampa Bay Rays under a two-year, $29 million contract before being claimed by the Braves. After declining a player option, he re-signed with Atlanta on a one-year, $20 million deal. Despite a productive period late last season, his current offensive production has declined.
