Atlanta Dream beats Dallas Wings 86-69 as Angel Reese leads the way

Angel Reese explained that she chose to join the Atlanta Dream because of coach Karl Smesko’s track record of player development, saying she wants to help the team win a championship. Her fit with the Dream’s system was evident early in the season.

In the Dream’s recent home game, Atlanta defeated the Dallas Wings 86-69 to improve to 3‑1. Reese contributed 15 points and nine rebounds, just shy of a double‑double, while Rhyne Howard led with 25 points, eight assists and four steals. Allisha Gray added 16 points, and the Dream’s defensive pressure helped them pull away in the third quarter.

The victory solidified the Dream’s strong start and highlighted Reese’s immediate impact on both offense and defense as she adapts to her new team.
