Atlanta Dream clarifies Enes Kanter Freedom arena incident

The Atlanta Dream issued a statement addressing claims made by Enes Kanter Freedom regarding his experience during Game 3 of the WNBA Finals at State Farm Arena. Freedom, a former NBA player, had shared social media footage claiming he was “kicked out” of the arena despite having purchased seats.

The Atlanta Dream clarified that Freedom had contacted federal, state, and local authorities expressing concerns for his personal safety during the game. Following consultations with the WNBA, Dream ownership, State Farm Arena leadership, and security officials, it was decided that Freedom would instead watch the game from a private luxury suite.
