Atlanta Falcons make roster moves and host player workouts

The Atlanta Falcons are continuing to refine their roster ahead of the 2026 NFL season. The team has signed offensive lineman Josh Thompson to the practice squad. Thompson, a former undrafted free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs, previously played for LSU and Northwestern.

In addition to the practice squad addition, the Falcons hosted defensive end Khalid Kareem for a workout. Kareem, a former fifth-round pick out of Notre Dame, previously appeared in four games for Atlanta last season.

Analysts have highlighted the Falcons' offensive potential, specifically noting the skill player trio of Bijan Robinson, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts. However, questions remain regarding the team's quarterback situation as the season approaches.
