Charlotte Hornets defeat Miami Heat and Washington Wizards

The Charlotte Hornets have secured their third win in four games to start the season, highlighted by two significant victories over the Miami Heat and the Washington Wizards.

In a 115-110 win against the Miami Heat, Brandon Miller scored 34 points to lead Charlotte. The victory allowed the Hornets to bounce back from a heavy loss to Atlanta, while leaving the Heat with an 0-3 start to their season. Miami coach Erik Spoelstra expressed frustration following the loss, noting a lack of inspiration and activity from his team.

Following that performance, the Hornets defeated the Washington Wizards 110-103. Brandon Miller recorded a career-high 39 points in the matchup. Despite a late rally from Washington, led by Anthony Davis with 29 points, Charlotte maintained their lead to improve their season record. Naz Reid contributed 18 points and 12 rebounds in the win.
