Atlanta Hawks focus on experience and eye Jalen Duren

The Atlanta Hawks are entering training camp with a strategic focus on increasing roster experience. General Manager Onsi Saleh stated that the team prioritized adding players with championship pedigree to support their young core. Key offseason additions include Lu Dort and Aaron Wiggins, whom Saleh noted will provide defensive tenacity and help drive player development through physical practice environments.

In related roster news, the Hawks have reportedly expressed interest in a potential sign-and-trade for Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren. Duren is currently in a contract dispute with Detroit during his restricted free agency. While the Pistons remain optimistic about a long-term deal, reports suggest the Hawks are among several teams, including the Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings, monitoring the situation should a trade become necessary.
