Atlanta Hawks sign exclusive local streaming deal with Prime Video

The Atlanta Hawks have announced a historic partnership with Prime Video, making them the first NBA team to stream locally distributed games exclusively on the platform. Starting with the 2026-27 NBA season, Prime Video will serve as the exclusive streaming home for 74 regular-season games not reserved for national broadcasts.

In-market fans within the team’s regional territory—which includes parts of Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Mississippi—can access these games through an Amazon Prime membership at no additional cost. The games will be available via the Prime Video app on various devices, including smart TVs, phones, and tablets.

Despite the streaming exclusivity, the Hawks will maintain broadcast partnerships with Gray Media. Local coverage will continue to be available via free over-the-air television on WANF, Peachtree Sports Network, and other Gray Media stations across Georgia.
