Atlanta metro sees surge of new restaurant openings

More than 30 new restaurants opened across the Atlanta metropolitan area in July 2026, ranging from upscale spots in Buckhead and Midtown to casual eateries in Decatur, Brookhaven and Jonesboro. Highlights include the rebranding of Victory Sandwich Bar to the American‑Italian restaurant Besto in Decatur, the launch of Y Bar with Rimini‑inspired cuisine in Buckhead Village, and the opening of Southern rotisserie chicken concept Pretty Hens Rotisserie.

Upcoming projects slated for the next months feature ENZO Italian Steakhouse & Bar expanding to a second location at Epicurean Atlanta, the rapid rollout of 7 Brew coffee stands in five metro neighborhoods, the Danish‑style café The Danish ATL planned for Midtown, and Mason’s Bagels opening a second shop in Lawrenceville. These additions are expected to broaden dining options and stimulate local food‑service employment.
