Atlanta United defeats Minnesota United 2-1

Atlanta United secured a 2-1 road victory against Minnesota United on Wednesday night at Allianz Field in Saint Paul. Tomas Jacob opened the scoring for Atlanta in the 37th minute with a right-footed shot following a pass from Tristan Muyumba.

Minnesota United equalized in the 55th minute when Anthony Markanich scored on a rebound following a header. However, Muyumba regained the lead for Atlanta in the 78th minute with a left-footed shot, marking his third consecutive game with a goal.

Atlanta United goalkeeper Lucas Hoyos recorded three saves to protect the lead. The win marks Atlanta's first back-to-back victories of the season and their second road win in 11 attempts. Minnesota United's winless streak has now extended to nine matches.
