Atlante Femenil to Play Home Games Behind Closed Doors
The Atlante Femenil women's football team announced that all of its home matches in the Apertura 2026 season will be held without spectators. The decision stems from the Centro de Alto Rendimiento de Atlante, the venue the club will use for its home games, not yet meeting the capacity and operational requirements for fan attendance. Media access is limited to roughly 30 spots for reporters and photographers.
The club urged supporters to follow the matches through the official Liga MX Femenil streams and its digital channels, noting that the first closed‑door fixture will take place on 3 August against Necaxa. The situation echoes a previous period when Cruz Azul Femenil also played home games without fans due to venue constraints.
