Atlantic City man pleads guilty to child endangerment

Yusef Gordy, 37, of Atlantic City, has pleaded guilty to third-degree endangering the welfare of a child. The plea follows an incident on December 18, 2025, where Gordy allegedly attacked and threatened a woman in the presence of her two children, aged 5 and 9.

According to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, Atlantic City Police responded to a domestic violence call at a residence, where the children met officers and reported that Gordy had attacked their mother. Officers observed visible facial injuries on the victim. Under a plea agreement, Gordy faces a recommended sentence of three years in state prison.
