Atlantic Highlands Chili Fest rescheduled to November
The 19th Annual Atlantic Highlands Chili Fest has been rescheduled to November following a Nor'easter that caused severe flooding in the coastal New Jersey area. The event, which typically occurs before the end of September, was moved to accommodate the inclement weather.
The rescheduled festival is set for Saturday, Nov. 14, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Charles J Hesse Center in Atlantic Highlands. The event will feature unlimited chili tasting, live music, and contests. Attendees can also enjoy local beverages from Carton Brewery and Shipwreck Rum.
Celebrity chef Lauren Covas is scheduled to appear at the event. Organizers have also reopened registration for those who missed the original deadline to enter their homemade chili.
