Atlas Ocean Voyages hosts expeditions to view solar eclipse

Atlas Ocean Voyages conducted specialized expeditions to observe a recent total solar eclipse from various maritime locations, including the Mediterranean, Iceland, and the North Atlantic. The company utilized three yachts—World Traveller, World Navigator, and World Voyager—positioned at strategic routes to provide passengers with viewing opportunities.

Specific locations included the waters off Palma de Mallorca, near Patreksfjörður in Iceland, and the sea between Greenland and Iceland. Onboard programming featured astronomy sessions and provided solar viewing protection. The company has announced future astronomy-focused voyages, including a solar eclipse expedition in July 2027 and a lunar eclipse voyage in late 2028.
