Atlassian shares hit 52-week high amid new AI initiatives

Atlassian shares reached a new 52-week high, trading as high as $201.58 following several strategic product and partnership announcements.

The company introduced the Agentic Multiplayer Protocol (AMP), a new MCP Server, and enhancements to its Teamwork Graph, all designed to facilitate collaboration between human employees and AI agents. Additionally, Atlassian launched a Forward Deployed Engineering program to place senior AI engineers with enterprise customers to accelerate the deployment of production-ready solutions.

During the Team '26 Europe event in Amsterdam, CEO Mike Cannon-Brookes emphasized Atlassian's role as critical infrastructure for global enterprises. He argued that while many organizations rank top-tier vendors by total spend, Atlassian is essential to the core workflows of major conglomerates. The company also announced an extended development alliance with OpenAI to bolster its AI capabilities.
