Asd Atletica Mondovì – Acqua S. Bernardo has launched a new inclusion project titled ‘Oltre la pista, dentro la comunità: sport, inclusione e prossimità’. Supported by a 27,000 euro grant from the Fondazione CRC under the ‘Sport per Tutti 2026’ initiative, the program aims to use athletics as a tool for social growth and community connection.

The project, which began in September, is set to continue through the end of 2027. A primary focus is dedicated to people with disabilities, featuring five afternoon sessions at the ‘Fantoni Bonino’ athletics track in Mondovì. These sessions are designed for individuals from local day centers in the Monregalese and Cuneo areas, utilizing a relay-style format to ensure participation regardless of motor autonomy levels.

Additionally, the project seeks to strengthen decentralized sports hubs by bringing athletic activities closer to various local territories.
