Atlixco Police Detain Man for Alleged Family Violence

Municipal police in Atlixco, Puebla, responded to a radio report of a family dispute at a residence on José María Morelos street. Officers were asked by a relative for help after a 41‑year‑old man, identified as Filibeto “N”, allegedly assaulted an elderly woman, a teenager and another family member, and made threats. The police entered the home with the victim’s consent, detained Filibeto, and conducted a preventive search that found no illegal items. He was placed under the jurisdiction of the specialized gender‑based violence prosecutor’s office, while the victims received medical attention and protective measures.
