Atlètic Lleida strengthens attack with signings of Christian Dieste and Youssef Ouakkati

Atlètic Lleida confirmed the acquisition of two experienced forwards as it prepares for the upcoming Tercera RFEF season. The 30‑year‑old striker Christian Dieste, previously with Jerez Deportivo, joined the club to add depth and pressure‑making ability to the attack. The club also completed its goalkeeper roster by adding Pablo Puyod from Utebo.

In a separate announcement, forward Youssef Ouakkati returned to Lleida after a prolific spell with Atlètic Montsó, where he scored 36 goals in all competitions, becoming the club’s second‑highest scorer historically. Born in Casablanca, Ouakkati previously represented Lleida in two seasons and was the top scorer in the Tercera RFEF last campaign. Both players are expected to feature prominently under the direction of coach Juan Carlos Beltrán as the side finalises its squad.

These signings are part of Atlètic Lleida’s broader effort to build a competitive roster for its upcoming campaign.
