Atlético Clube Paranavaí wins 2026 Campeonato Paranaense Série B, earns promotion

Atlético Clube Paranavaí (ACP) secured the 2026 Campeonato Paranaense Série B title after a two‑legged final against Paraná Clube ended 1‑1 on aggregate and ACP triumphed 4‑2 in the penalty shoot‑out. The victory guarantees the club promotion to the state's top division for the 2027 season.

The club’s success came under coach Wanderley, a former forward who took charge in 2026 and won his first senior coaching trophy. ACP is majority‑owned (60%) by Brazilian singer Gusttavo Lima, who invested roughly R$3 million in 2024 and has overseen the club’s restructuring.

Former player Adriano Spadoto, now a club manager, celebrated becoming one of the few individuals to win titles in all three state divisions – Série A as a player in 2007, Série C as a director in 2023 and Série B in 2026. He said, “Os três títulos do ACP… é muito gratificante,” and outlined goals to stay competitive in the upcoming Série A campaign.
