Liga MX: Pumas and Atlas draw while San Luis defeats Necaxa

In Matchday 9 of the Liga MX Apertura 2026, Pumas UNAM and Atlas played to a 1-1 draw at the Estadio Jalisco. Ángel Azuaje opened the scoring for Pumas in the 23rd minute with an acrobatic scorpion kick. Atlas responded in stoppage time of the first half when Luis Esteves scored a powerful shot to equalize.
