Atlético Escobar secures Federal A permanence after draw

Atlético Escobar has secured its permanence in the Torneo Federal A following a 1-1 draw against El Linqueño during the sixth round of the Revalidation Phase.

In a physical first half, Atlético Escobar took the lead through a play involving Lucas Núñez and Ramón Villalba. El Linqueño managed to equalize in the final moments of the match with a free kick scored by Juan Cruz Gutiérrez.

With this result, Atlético Escobar avoids relegation with three matchdays remaining and shifts its focus toward qualifying for the playoffs for promotion to the B Nacional. Their next match will be against Defensores de Puerto Vilelas.
