Planalto (GO) takes lead in Brasileirão Feminino Série A3 final
Planalto (GO) secured a 1-0 victory over Juventude (SE) in the first leg of the Brasileirão Feminino Série A3 final. The match, held in Aparecida de Goiânia, saw Planalto take an early lead following a goal by Marcelly after a short corner kick.
In the final minutes, Juventude was awarded a penalty via VAR. However, Planalto goalkeeper Lescaut saved the shot from Manu, preserving the lead. The second leg is scheduled for September 5 in Aracaju, where Juventude holds home-field advantage. Because there is no away-goal advantage, a tie in the aggregate score will lead to a penalty shootout.
