Atlético-MG rejects €15 million offer for Tomás Cuello

Atlético Mineiro has rejected an official transfer proposal for forward Tomás Cuello from Russian club CSKA. The offer, reported to be worth approximately 15 million euros (R$ 89 million) including fixed amounts and performance bonuses, was turned down by the club's management as they do not intend to sell the 26-year-old Argentine at this time.

Despite the rejection, Atlético Mineiro leadership is reportedly open to considering higher offers for the player. Since joining the club in January 2025, Cuello has recorded 13 goals and 14 assists in 81 appearances.

On the pitch, Atlético Mineiro faced São Paulo in a Campeonato Brasileiro match at the Morumbis stadium. The match featured a disallowed goal for São Paulo due to a VAR review and saw intense play between the two sides.
