Atlético Mineiro defeats Red Bull Bragantino 1-0 in Brasileirão

Atlético Mineiro defeated Red Bull Bragantino 1-0 in a rescheduled match for the 21st round of the Campeonato Brasileiro at Arena MRV. Bernard scored the winning goal in the 18th minute of the first half, capitalizing on a defensive error following a long pass from goalkeeper Gabriel Delfim.

While Bernard provided the offense, Gabriel Delfim was widely cited as the match's standout performer. Delfim made seven saves, including several critical interventions in the second half to withstand intense pressure from Bragantino, who finished the game with 23 shots.

The match was marked by a serious head collision between Bragantino's Alix Vinícius and Atlético's Vitor Hugo just nine seconds after kickoff. Alix Vinícius was taken from the field by ambulance for medical observation, while Vitor Hugo was able to continue after a brief delay.

With this victory, Atlético Mineiro reaches 43 points, moving into seventh place and closing the gap on the top five positions. Red Bull Bragantino remains in 11th place with 36 points, continuing a difficult run of five matches without a win.
