Atlético Mineiro unveils fan-voted Manto da Massa 26-27 kit

Atlético Mineiro and Nike have announced the winning design for the Manto da Massa 26-27 kit, titled ‘A Tradição que Permanece’ (The Tradition that Remains). The design secured 59% of the vote, with 17,878 members participating in the selection process.

Departing from the club’s traditional vertical stripes, the new uniform features wide horizontal black and white stripes inspired by supporter flags. The kit includes gold accents on the V-neck collar, cuffs, and Nike logo, alongside a black and white version of the club’s historic 1950 crest. The design also incorporates the phrase ‘Uma vez até morrer’ from the club anthem.

This marks a significant milestone for the Manto da Massa project, which began in 2020. For the first time, the winning fan-inspired design will be worn by the senior team in an official competitive match, with the debut scheduled for 2027.
