Atlético Morelia secures two victories in MX football competitions

Atlético Morelia secured two victories across different competitions. In the Liga BBVA Expansión MX Apertura 2026 tournament, Morelia defeated Cancún FC 4-1 at the Estadio José María Morelos y Pavón. Despite an early lead by Cancún FC, the match shifted following the expulsion of Jair Cortés in the 28th minute. Morelia responded with goals from Brayan Trejo, Rubén Del Campo (two goals), and Michell Rodríguez to secure the win.
