Atlético Nacional negotiates sale of Juan Manuel Rengifo to Europe

Atlético Nacional is negotiating the transfer of 21-year-old offensive midfielder Juan Manuel Rengifo to Europe. The Colombian club is seeking a significant windfall from the sale, with management reportedly valuing the player between $12 million and $15 million.

Portuguese club SC Braga has emerged as a primary suitor and has reportedly considered an offer in the region of €7 million. While various international teams including Italy's Lazio and Sassuolo, as well as Portugal's Sporting CP and Norway's Bodo/Glimt, have previously expressed interest, a definitive agreement has not yet been reached.

Rengifo, whose contract with Atlético Nacional runs until December 2028, has become one of the standout talents in the Liga Dimayor. His potential departure has prompted the Medellín-based club to begin searching for creative replacements in the midfield.
