Atlético Ottawa Secures Stoppage‑Time Victory Against Pacific FC

On July 26, 2026, Canadian Premier League side Atlético Ottawa defeated Pacific FC 3–2 in Ottawa. The match marked the debut of Pacific's new head coach Terry Dunfield. Ottawa opened the scoring in stoppage time of the first half when Emiliano García tapped in a rebound.

Pacific responded with two goals – a penalty converted by Alejandro Díaz after a foul on Joshua Belluz, and a strike from Marco Bustos. Ottawa equalised in the 76th minute through Ballou Tabla, but a late effort by substitute Nicolas Fleuriau Chateau in the sixth minute of added time secured the win for the host. Pacific's loss extended their winless run to four matches and a 23‑game streak without a victory.

The result keeps both clubs in the lower half of the league table as the season progresses.
