Atlético San Luis defeats Querétaro 2-1 in Liga MX

Atlético San Luis secured a 2-1 victory against Querétaro during the 13th round of the Apertura 2026 Liga MX season. The match, known as the Clásico de la 57, was held at the Estadio Libertad Financiera in San Luis Potosí.

After a scoreless first half characterized by San Luis's offensive pressure and a disallowed penalty, the scoring opened in the 52nd minute with a goal by Felipe Mora. Querétaro's Daniel Parra later scored an own goal in the 67th minute, before Alí Ávila scored for Querétaro in the 74th minute to narrow the deficit.

Following the result, San Luis sits in 16th place with 16 points, while Querétaro remains in 6th place with 20 points. San Luis is scheduled to play Atlante on October 23, and Querétaro will face Cruz Azul on October 25.
