ATLUS opens pre-orders for Metaphor: ReFantazio on Nintendo Switch 2

ATLUS has announced that pre-orders are now open for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the fantasy role-playing game Metaphor: ReFantazio. The title is scheduled for release on November 12, 2026.

To mark the announcement, the publisher released a new series of character trailers, beginning with a video focused on the game's protagonist. Metaphor: ReFantazio was a significant success upon its initial 2024 launch, earning a Metacritic score of 94 and winning several awards at The Game Awards 2024, including Best RPG, Best Narrative, and Best Art Direction. The game also became ATLUS's fastest-selling title, surpassing one million copies sold on its launch day.

The game follows a journey through a fantasy realm on the brink of ruin, where players must confront fears and build alliances to change their destiny. While the Nintendo Switch 2 version is upcoming, the game is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
