Atomerőmű SE defeats MVM OSE Lions in memorial tournament

Atomerőmű SE defeated MVM OSE Lions with a score of 89-77 in the second match of the XIV. Morgen Ferdinánd Memorial Tournament.

Before the game, participants held a moment of silence to honor the late world champion kayaker Gergely Boros and László Horváth, a technical leader for the ASE football department.

Atomerőmű SE established an early lead, reaching a 21-8 advantage within the first few minutes. Despite a competitive second quarter where the score was leveled by Benke’s free throws, ASE maintained control throughout the second half. Jay Jay Chandler led the scoring for ASE with 10 points, though he was forced to leave the court due to a leg injury during the ninth minute of play.
