Atomic Eagle advances uranium projects in Niger and Zambia
Atomic Eagle has announced a fundraising effort of approximately $7.7 million USD (10.9 million AUD) to advance its Madaouéla uranium project in Niger. This move follows the signing of a new mining convention in August 2026, which marks a resolution to a two-year dispute between the company and the Nigerien state regarding permit control.
Simultaneously, the company is reporting positive drilling progress at its Muntanga Uranium Project in Zambia. A 30,000-meter drilling program is underway, with recent results at Muntanga North revealing a uranium mineralization zone measuring roughly 600 meters by 200 meters. Additional drilling at Namakande has intersected a broad, shallow-dipping uranium zone covering approximately 1,000 meters by 400 meters. The company continues to utilize ground radiometric surveys to refine exploration targets.
