Novak Djokovic falls to world No. 12 in ATP rankings
Novak Djokovic has dropped out of the ATP Top 10 for the first time since July 2018. Following a first-round exit at the US Open against Mariano Navone, the Serbian player fell seven positions to world number 12.
At the top of the rankings, Jannik Sinner maintains the number one spot with 11,500 points. Alexander Zverev holds second place following his US Open victory, while Carlos Alcaraz remains third. American player Ben Shelton saw a significant rise, climbing five spots to reach a career-high ranking of number four.
Other notable shifts include Frances Tiafoe moving up to eighth and Daniil Medvedev rising to sixth. In the Croatian rankings, Marin Čilić moved to 80th place.
