Atromitos signs Senegalese goalkeeper Senny Dieng

Atromitos has officially announced the signing of Senegalese goalkeeper Senny Dieng. The 31-year-old joins the club on a one-year contract as a free agent following his departure from Middlesbrough.

Dieng brings extensive experience from English football, having made over 170 appearances in the Championship across clubs such as Crewe Alexandra, Doncaster Rovers, Stevenage, and Sheffield Wednesday. He also played for Dundee in Scotland. An international player, Dieng has earned nine caps for the Senegal national team and was part of the squad that won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2022.

Upon signing, Dieng expressed his excitement about the project and the opportunity to work under coach Dusan Kerkez, noting that the club's approach made him eager to join the team.
