Atsugiri Tonkatsu Yoshihei to open new Sendai Chuo branch

Hotland East Japan will open the Sendai Chuo branch of its thick-cut tonkatsu specialty restaurant, Atsugiri Tonkatsu Yoshihei, on September 30, 2026. Located in Aoba Ward, Sendai, the new location is the brand's third store in Miyagi Prefecture.

Unlike previous locations, the Sendai Chuo branch will feature a refined atmosphere with 16 counter seats, designed to accommodate solo diners, commuters, and tourists. The menu focuses on aged pork, including loin and fillet cuts, which are breaded with coarse fresh breadcrumbs and fried in rice oil.

Signature offerings include the Aged Loin Cutlet Set, starting at 1,800 yen, and a large natural jumbo shrimp fry set for 2,600 yen. The restaurant also emphasizes its rice service, using Niigata-grown Koshihikari prepared in large traditional kamado stoves.
