AT&T launches 5G-enabled amiGO Jr. Tab 2 kids tablet

AT&T has refreshed its amiGO Jr. lineup with the amiGO Jr. Tab 2, a children’s tablet that runs on the carrier’s 5G network rather than relying on home Wi‑Fi. The device features an 8.7‑inch anti‑glare screen, a stylus for drawing, and a battery rated for a full day of use. It retains the original’s protective case, curated educational content and parental‑control tools, and joins the amiGO Jr. Phone and Watch 2 offerings.

The tablet is priced at $4.99 per month on a 36‑month contract, positioning it as a first‑device option for families with toddlers, a market where AT&T notes many children receive a tablet by age two.
