Attendo to build new nursing home in Oulu

A new Attendo nursing home is under development in the Pateniemi district of Oulu, Finland. The two-story facility, covering approximately 2,600 square meters, is designed to provide housing for 60 elderly residents.

The project is being developed and owned by Plus Hoivakodit Oy, with construction managed by Pajala Pohjois-Suomi Oy. The building is designed to be energy-efficient, holding an A-class energy rating through the use of geothermal heating and solar panels.

Construction work has already commenced on the site, and the facility is expected to be completed in the autumn of 2027. The home will include common areas, dining rooms, kitchens, saunas, and staff facilities, alongside a safe outdoor courtyard area.
