Attica Governor inspects road works on Fylis Avenue
Attica Governor Nikos Hardalias conducted a nighttime inspection of road resurfacing works on a 1,900-meter section of Fylis Avenue. This project is part of a broader road maintenance program covering seven municipalities across the Central, Western, and Northern sectors of Athens.
The specific maintenance intervention has a budget of over 2.16 million euros including VAT. Hardalias stated that road safety is a top priority and that the administration is implementing a comprehensive program of 31 road safety projects totaling 192.9 million euros, with 18 projects already completed, ongoing, or up for tender.
In addition to the works on Fylis Avenue, completed or planned resurfacing includes Anastasiou Skoufou, Agiou Tryfonos, Palaia Penteli Square, and Agiou Sylla. Upcoming projects are scheduled for Thebes Avenue in Egaleo, Paleologou in Chalandri, Dimokratias in Agioi Anargyroi, Tatoiou in Kifisia, Ethnikis Antistaseos in Nea Ionia, and Chalandriou in Agia Paraskevi.
