The Attica Region is implementing several initiatives to support business development and innovation through the ‘Attica 2021–2027’ Regional Program.
First, a 5.4 million euro investment has been allocated for the digital modernization of six major professional chambers in Attica. This project aims to upgrade information systems and develop new digital infrastructures, including the use of Artificial Intelligence, to improve services for businesses and citizens.
Additionally, a 17 million euro funding call has been launched to support partnerships between businesses and research organizations. This initiative focuses on six priority sectors, including digital technology, health, and the circular economy. Eligible projects, which can receive up to 80% funding for small businesses in industrial research, must be submitted between October 2026 and January 2027. The goal is to bridge the gap between scientific research and the productive sector to enhance competitiveness.
