Attica Region to host Clusters Meet Regions 2026 in Athens

The Attica Region will host and co-organize the Clusters Meet Regions event for the first time in Greece on October 6 and 7, 2026, at the Athens Concert Hall. This initiative is led by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) in collaboration with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW).

The event aims to connect regional authorities, business clusters, research institutions, and market representatives to foster new partnerships that enhance innovation and competitiveness across European regions. Key discussion topics will include the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the application of research in production, smart specialization, and participation in European value chains.

Attica Governor Nikos Hardalias noted that the event provides a significant opportunity for local businesses, particularly SMEs, to connect with European investors, policymakers, and research organizations to access new networks, knowledge, and markets.
