ATU completes road repairs in Lima and extends transport hours for concerts

The Urban Transport Authority for Lima and Callao (ATU) has completed road maintenance works at Plaza Ramón Castilla in central Lima. The intervention involved milling and applying new asphalt to approximately 2,800 square meters of road surface to improve transitability and safety. This area is a strategic hub for public transport, serving the Metropolitano services A and C, as well as 28 authorized conventional transport routes. Following the completion of the works, Metropolitano services and the Lampa and Emancipación stations have resumed normal operations.

Additionally, the ATU has announced special transportation measures for the upcoming Romeo Santos and Prince Royce concerts at the Estadio Nacional on September 11 and 12. To facilitate passenger return, the Estadio Nacional Metropolitano station will extend its service hours until midnight. The Corredor Azul will also extend its operations until 12:00 a.m., providing connections to districts such as Rímac, Miraflores, and Barranco. Authorities have advised attendees to plan their return trips in advance and avoid unauthorized or informal vehicles.
