ATV cancels Mercan Köşk and Aşk ve Taht due to low ratings

Several Turkish television series on the ATV network are facing early cancellations due to low viewership ratings.

The drama Mercan Köşk, starring Kubilay Aka, Hafsanur Sancaktutan, and Bertan Asllani, is set to conclude with its seventh episode. Despite previous assurances from cast members that production was continuing at full speed, the series failed to meet audience expectations.

Similarly, the historical drama Aşk ve Taht, which follows the life of Seljuk Sultan Alaeddin Keykubat, has also been canceled. The production, starring Akın Akınözü and Simay Barlas, will end after its fifth episode following a decision by the network and production company after disappointing rating results.
