ATX Prime climbs 0.7% as Austrian market shows strong half‑year gains

The ATX Prime index opened higher on Tuesday, rising 0.73% to 3,148.53 points. The index is up 18.45% year‑to‑date and has approached its annual high of 3,243.92 points.

Among the most active components, Marinomed Biotech gained 6.01% and AT&S added 5.21%, while weaker performers included Wolford, Warimpex and Telekom Austria. Erste Group Bank recorded the largest trading volume in the index.

A separate analysis of Austrian investment portfolios highlighted a wiki‑based fund that has generated a 7.38% return for the year and a cumulative 130.60% gain since its 2013 launch, growing an initial €10,000 to about €151,998. The commentary listed a broad range of Austrian stocks as watch‑list candidates, reflecting continued investor interest in the Wiener Börse market.
