ATX Prime climbs over 0.6% on Thursday in Vienna
The ATX Prime index on the Vienna Stock Exchange rose 0.62% to 3,321.41 points by the close of Thursday trading, reaching a daily high of 3,337.77 points. Over the week the index gained 4.32%, and since the start of 2026 it is up about 24.9% year‑to‑date.
Top performers included Vienna Insurance (+3.53%), AT&S (+3.50%), Lenzing (+2.98%), Rosenbauer (+2.77%) and Telekom Austria (+1.59%). The biggest trading volume was recorded by Erste Group Bank, with roughly 338,000 shares changing hands and a market capitalisation of €45.41 billion. Declining stocks featured Marinomed Biotech, Kapsch TrafficCom, Frequentis, FACC and Mayr‑Melnhof Karton.
OMV posted the lowest price‑to‑earnings ratio in the index at 7.33 and is projected to deliver the strongest dividend yield of about 7.11% for 2026.
