ATX slips marginally as Vienna Stock Exchange ends flat on Monday
The ATX index closed virtually unchanged on Monday, down 0.01% to 6,565.51 points after a modest intraday decline to 6,528.73 points. Trading volume was low at 0.270 billion euros, and the index remains 23.27% above its start‑of‑year level. Top gainers were RBI (+1.79%), SBO (+1.18%) and Palfinger (+1.07%), while the biggest losers were AT&S (‑4.79%), Lenzing (‑2.35%) and Österreichische Post (‑1.72%).
The ATX Prime sub‑index also finished near flat, down 0.03% to 3,226.80 points, up 21.39% year‑to‑date. Leading stocks in ATX Prime mirrored the main index, with FACC, Frequentis and Raiffeisen posting gains and Addiko Bank, AT&S and Lenzing among the laggards. Overall, the Austrian market showed limited movement despite a modest year‑to‑date rally.
