Auburn prepares for LSU following victory over Georgia

Auburn head coach Alex Golesh is focusing his team on their upcoming matchup against LSU following a significant 27-24 road victory over No. 1 Georgia. Golesh emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline and turning the page quickly after the signature win, noting that the team spent their off-day reviewing film to prepare for the challenge.

LSU enters the game with a highly productive offense and a top-10 defense that allows fewer than 100 rushing yards per game. Golesh highlighted the dual threat of the LSU offense, which averages nearly 200 yards rushing and over 300 yards passing per game, noting that Auburn must minimize turnovers to remain competitive.

During the previous week's celebrations, Auburn also recognized kicker Alex McPherson. McPherson secured the win against Georgia with a 34-yard field goal as time expired. His achievement follows a significant personal health battle involving ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, which required major surgery and impacted his physical recovery over the last two years.
