Auburn volleyball wins two matches to open 2026 season

The Auburn volleyball team opened its 48th season with a successful weekend at the Buccaneer Classic in Johnson City, Tennessee. The Tigers began the tournament with a 3-0 sweep over Liberty, led by 16 kills from junior Lauren Dreves and strong defensive play from freshman libero Emily Keiranh.

Auburn followed the opening victory with a 3-1 win against host ETSU. Junior Belle Patrick recorded a career-high 20 kills, while sophomore Carson Eickenloff set a career best with 52 assists. The team's performance included dominant early sets, though ETSU managed to take the third set before Auburn secured the match victory.
